Weymouth 51 Dorset Naga
Taste of Dorset! Dorset Naga was developed years ago from seed of Bangladeshi Naga by Joy and Micheal at Sea Spring Seeds Dorchester. It was the hottest chilli in the world 2006. Living in Dorset, Weymouth 51 are lucky enough to have these amazingly fresh Dorset Naga on their doorstep.
First flavour floral, harmless and little bit earthy, just having a little swallow and feel it going down on the back of my neck, getting hot bottom lip and ears. Now starting to get warm and tingly so quick, my tongue standing on end now. Really really rich body with Dorset Naga flavours. It’s starting to get crazy hot and this one is an absolute beauty, wonderful!
Ideal with crispy tofu, tempura vegetable, garlic grilled portobello mushrooms and a strong goat cheese will all go perfect with this sauce! Oh and I forgot about a great medium rare steak!
220ml

Taste of the West Judges
"Vinegar and fruit. It’s very good with eye-watering hints of the heat to come! (Different judges from those who made a similar comment above!) Great distribution of the seeds, fruit and skin – all looking warm fresh and attractive. Smooth sense on the tongue, with distinct bits, until the tongue…explodes! Savoury, vegetal, sweet, fresh fruity but once impossible to hold the flavour to enjoy. The judges were totally agreed about this sauce. They were enjoying it until the heat numbed their tongues and sent them scrambling for milk and bread."
